 Job Description

ThedaCare - Appleton Heart Institute is seeking an experienced, BE/BC Cardiologist - Non-Invasive to join our team!  Prospective candidates will need to become BC in Echo and Nuclear in addition to Cardiology. The position also entails a mix of inpatient and outpatient exposure.

ThedaCare – Appleton Heart Institute is the cornerstone for the most advanced cardiovascular disease program in the region. We're able to offer a team of board-certified cardiovascular specialists with multiple subspecialties. The physicians and staff of the Appleton Heart Institute have been serving the Fox Valley - in East Central Wisconsin - and the surrounding area for more than three decades.

History of Excellence:

  • Across the Board, Appleton Cardiology has a very high caliber of physicians who come from some of the top cardiology programs in the U.S.  (Mayo, Michigan, Washington University, Iowa, etc.) and abroad.  This diversification is embraced in our group culture and offers a stimulating practice environment.

  • The group size is still small enough to maintain active group relationships and decision-making.  The group culture is best described as collegial, democratic and consensus oriented.

  • As quality metrics become more transparent ThedaCare ranks high in cardiology-related metrics for Wisconsin as reported by CMS, WCHQ, WHA, etc.  Our Code Stemi and post intervention LOS performance ranks in the top 2% nationally.  Our CHF readmission rates are also very low compared to most other health systems.

  • The practice goes to great lengths to support a personal/professional balance so that you can practice cardiology and have time for personal interests.
  • Our limited hospital coverage (two ThedaCare campuses) allow the practice to maintain a very favorable call schedule compared to other groups around the country.
