Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC) is seeking a FT Hospitalist BE/BC in internal medicine. This hospital employed position offers 7 on/7 off hospitalist schedules, broad sub-specialty support, and excellent compensation and benefits, including relocation and CME.

Southern Maine Medical Center is a 150-bed modern and comprehensive community hospital and a member of MaineHealth, the state's largest integrated healthcare delivery system. The medical staff includes highly qualified sub-specialists and a large referral base of primary care physicians, with over 80 hospital-employed physicians.
The hospital recently underwent a $24 million expansion project, which included a new state-of-the art Emergency Department, expanded Surgical Services and a Cardiopulmonary Wellness Center.
York County is one of the fastest growing communities in Maine, with ready access to beaches, cultural and recreational opportunities, and excellent schools. The practice is located a half an hour from Portland, and just an hour and a half from Boston.
