Carilion Clinic, a not-for-profit health care organization based in Roanoke, VA is seeking a fellowship trained epileptologist to join our well-established and growing multispecialty Neurology department. This individual will join our comprehensive neurology team in the provision of specialized epilepsy care and neurophysiology testing for our adult patients. We have a busy inpatient and outpatient practice with dedicated epilepsy clinics, and epilepsy monitoring unit, critical care monitoring and several neurodiagnostic labs. Video EEC monitoring capabilities extended to nearly all parts of the campus. The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in neurology, will have excellent bedside manner and be capable of developing strong and empathetic relationships with patients and their families. Experience with epilepsy surgery and intracranial monitoring is desirable. A commitment to teaching medical students in required. We have a new established Neurology residency program Weekend and nigh call is divided among 8 neurologist.
