The Neurology department at Carilion Clinic recently started a residency program with 3 residents per year and recruited the Chief of Neurology recently, Dr. Aashit Shah. There are exciting opportunities to expand clinical research including clinical trials and translational as well as basic neuroscience research collaboration with the incredible faculty at the VTCRI as well as the Virginia Tech University in nearby Blacksburg. As a member of the neurology faculty at Carilion Clinic, you will have an appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine located on the campus.
