Carilion is also currently renovating space for a new 150,000 square-foot outpatient pediatric clinic including imaging facilities.
CRMH is a 703-bed flagship hospital in Southwest Virginia, the third largest hospital in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a designated level 1 trauma center, and a designated Stroke Center serving over one million people. Technology platforms include Sectra PACS, Powerscribe 360, EPIC EMR, and Syngo.Via advanced image processing.
All Radiologists at CRMH have academic appointments at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and light teaching responsibilities for medical students and non-radiology residents. There are no expectations for research. However, participation in research is available for interested candidates.
