In Harker Heights, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to provide top quality evidence based pediatric primary care with a connection to a world-class children’s hospital and specialty care when needed. This center is a federally qualified health center (FQHC), is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, formed to address the critical primary care health needs of the uninsured and underserved residents of Williamson County. Our patients include the uninsured, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, and privately insured. LSCC has been providing care for over five years and we are growing rapidly. Community residents not only have a medical home, they now have access to dental and behavioral health care. We now have six medical locations and two dental facilities. FQHC's, also known as community health centers, are local, non-profit or public entity, community owned health care providers serving low-income and medially underserved communities. FQHC's provide high-quality, affordable primary care and preventative services to populations who, even if insured, remain isolated from traditional forms of medical care because of where they live, who they are, the language they speak, and their high levels of complex health care needs. |
