 Job Description

In Centerville, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a Part-time Internal or Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive in-patient primary health care services to the Center’s patients. 

Job Overview:

  • Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician's panel
     
  • Maintain a problem oriented health record for each patient seen

     
  • Review all lab and x-ray reports for patients under his/her care

     
  • Trains, mentors and supervises students and clinical support staff, as appropriate

     
  • Takes call after hours and on weekends on a rotation basis with other providers and responds appropriately and on a timely manner to after hour calls
     
  • Participate in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs as needed
     
  • Clinic uses ECW EHR system

Physician will work 3 days per week!

 Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of approved post-graduate training/residency
  • Board certified in Family or Internal Medicine preferred
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions, and current CPR Certification

Will accept new graduates!

Bilingual (Spanish and English) Preferred
