The Department of Psychiatry at Maine Medical Center is seeking two BC/BE adult psychiatrists for their Outpatient Adult Services, and their Partial Hospital Program.

As an integral part of a growing mental health system and an integrated healthcare system, the attending physician will provide direct clinical care for adults and will supervise an interdisciplinary treatment team.  The Department of Psychiatry is comprised of adult and child psychiatric residency and fellowship training programs, comprehensive outpatient treatment programs in adult, child and geriatric psychiatry, as well as inpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs.

The Partial Hospital Program offers intensive, daily treatment as both an alternative, as well as step down program to inpatient hospitalization.  The Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program is specially designed for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse problems.

Candidates will have an Assistant Professor Faculty appointment at Tufts School of Medicine, and the opportunity to teach Residents and Fellows at Maine Medical Center, the state’s leading tertiary care hospital with a full complement of residencies and fellowships, and an integral part of the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program.
