This is an employed position with a flexible two-year salary guarantee based on a four, four and one-half or five day work week. After that period of time, the physician will move to an incentive compensation plan. There is an option to go on the compensation plan after one year if the physician meets financial targets.

ThedaCare, Inc., a highly successful northeast Wisconsin integrated health system, seeks a BE/BC Family Practice Physician for its Shawano location. This is a full scope family medicine practice with five of the physicians doing Obstetrics. In addition to deliveries, the group would welcome a provider that is trained or willing to be trained to do C-sections. The group shares call with another ThedaCare family medicine site enjoying call of 1:12. OB call will be 1:6. Members of the group perform a wide array of procedures, including but not limited to, vasectomies, colposcopies, sigmoidoscopies, colonoscopies, TA's, cryo, LEEP, joint injections, lesion removal, suturing and casting.
ThedaCare Physicians Shawano ambulatory care center is a state-of-the-art, comprehensive
outpatient facility designed to meet most a patient's health care needs under one roof. The twostory,
73,000-square-foot facility includes visiting specialists from nearly 20 different physician
practices, comprehensive diagnostics including laboratory, digital X-Ray, CT and MRI, rooms
to perform minor procedures such as colonoscopies under local anesthetic, as well as ThedaCare
Pharmacy and ThedaCare At Home services. In addition, the facility offers a fully equipped and
staffed outpatient surgery center.
The ambulatory care center integrates the services offered by both primary care physicians and
specialists by co-locating them and diagnostic services in a single facility, and by keeping them
connected in real time through ThedaCare's electronic medical records system (EMR).
ThedaCare Physicians Shawano is the largest multi-specialty physician practice in the region.
It began as a physician practice more than 40 years ago, and has been affiliated with ThedaCare
for almost 15 years. It employs nearly 170 people, including 17 physicians, at locations in Shawano,
Clintonville and Tigerton. Almost 20,000 active patients in ten counties make more than
80,000 visits to ThedaCare Physicians Shawano annually.

Shawano County's economic base includes retail, government, services, and manufacturing.
There is great variety in Shawano's outdoor recreational choices. Thanks to an excellent network of county and city parks, you can camp, hunt, fish (134 lakes and multiple streams), boat, sail, canoe, golf, downhill and cross country ski, hike, bird watch, raft, and snowmobile. There are 300 miles of marked snowmobile trails that connect with trails in other counties, plus two hiking/biking trails together combined of nearly 100 miles. Nearby state-owned Navarino Wildlife area has public hunting grounds comprised of 13,000 acres. Especially popular is the beautiful Wolf River, which offers world-class canoeing, tubing, and whitewater rafting.

ThedaCare Physicians Shawano relocated to an new a 73,000-sq-ft, state-of-the-art facility in 2006. An Electronic Health Record (EPIC) has been in place since 2003. The practice enjoys on-site ancillary services including Digital X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and cardiac testing, full range pharmacy, foot care clinic for diabetic patients, and an onsite Oncology/Chemo infusion center. Facilities for Endoscopies and other minor procedures that use local anesthetic are also available. Visiting specialists include: Audiology, Cardiology, ENT, Nephrology, Neurology, OB/Gyn, Oncology, Orthopedics and sports Medicine, Pain Management, Rehabilition medicine, Psychiatry, Urology and Vascular Surgery.
