 Job Description

In Balch Springs, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician who is responsible for providing medical services to the patients of the Community Health Center. This provider would need to be able to see all ages from newborns to geriatrics.

Job Overview:

  • Provide routine primary care, urgent ambulatory, patient education and coordination of behavioral health services.
     
  • Complete all meaningful use measures or any other clinical quality metrics (including population health metrics) as defined by CMS, participating insurance health plans and other governing bodies.
     
  • Participates in PCMH standard of care, Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement activities, Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, OSHA standards.
     
  • Provide after hour coverage per center policy and schedule.
     
  • EHR: Athena

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school 
     
  • Minimum of 3 years post training experience preferred
     
  • Unrestricted Texas License required
     
  • Board eligible or Board certification required

Will accept new graduates!

Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred
