Pen Bay Medical Center is seeking a FT BC/BE outpatient adult psychiatrist and a BC/BE child psychiatrist to join their hospital-employed, community-based team of professionals. Psychiatrists at Pen Bay Medical Center work and collaborate with Maine Mental Health Partners, a non-profit integrated system of mental health providers across the southernmost 11 counties of Maine. Training and experience in addiction psychiatry a plus. Participate in a multi-disciplinary team approach to serve a diverse client base. The Psychiatric and Addiction Recovery Center (PARC) at Pen Bay Medical Center is an acute in-patient psychiatric and medical detoxification treatment for patients 18 years of age and older, with an inpatient census of 15. Call for Pen Bay psychiatrists is 1:8 (weekday telephone call) and paid weekend call involving rounding on patients in the inpatient unit.
