 Job Description

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our Cardiology team located in Muskegon, Michigan.

Practice Features:

  • The THMG Cardiovascular Group is a regional group consisting of a 10 Provider Cardiology practice in Muskegon, and an 8 Provider Cardiology practice in Grand Rapids. Both groups make up THMG Cardiology, West Michigan.  The group is also part of the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, which is a joint venture between Trinity Health and the University of Michigan Health-West.
  • Trinity Health Muskegon also has a strong Cardio-Thoracic program that further supports the Structural Health program and ever-growing EP service that is actively recruiting and growing. 
  • We promote a strong interdisciplinary model of care utilizing Advance Practice Professionals, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to augment our professional providers.

Services include:

Cardiac Health Management Services

    • Arrhythmia management
    • Cardiomyopathy
    • Complete consultation, assessment, and plan for individualized treatment
    • Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
    • Coumadin testing and teaching
    • Lipid management
    • Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) management
    • Full-service pacemaker/implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Clinic and remote monitoring
    • Presurgical evaluation
    • Valvular Heart Disease

Hospital Management Services

    • Cardiac catheterizations
    • Coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI)
    • Electrical cardioversions
    • Emergency (heart attack) angioplasty
    • Inpatient consultation
    • Inpatient diagnostic testing
    • Pacemaker, bi-ventricular pacemaker, internal cardiac defibrillator implantation and loop recorders
    • Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)
    • Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)

Qualifications:

  • Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
  • State of Michigan license required at time of employment.
