 Job Description

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full time (1.0 clinical FTE) Gynecologic Oncologist to join our cancer network located in Grand Rapids & Muskegon, Michigan.

This rapidly growing cancer network has medical, radiation, neurologic and surgical oncologists, including subspecialist in breast, thoracic, and gynecologic oncology, with additional subspecialties joining soon.  Support includes Advanced Practice Professionals, Nurse and Financial Navigators, Social work, Palliative Care and Genetics.  Trinity Health Medical Group employs over 30 gynecologists in the area, and has a network of over 850 providers. Trinity Health has a robust daVinci robotic surgery program available. Radiation modalities TrueBeam, CyberKnife, and brachytherapy.  

Practice Features:

  • Team manages the patient throughout the course of cancer care to provide the most advanced medical and surgical treatment while prioritizing quality of life and symptom management.
  • Weekly schedule will be a combination of clinic and hospital. Physicians typically have 1-2 days a week in the operating room.
  • Call will be split between providers (1:3).
  • Team is a part of The Cancer Network of West Michigan, a joint venture between Trinity Health and University of Michigan Health – West.
  • Accreditations: CoC, NAPBC, Lacks Cancer Center is a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence, ACR accredited for Radiation Oncology, Lung Screening Center of Excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training required
  • Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
  • State of Michigan license required at time of employment
  • DEA license
