Community Overview

Crystal City, TX was originally settled by farmers and ranchers and to this day remains an agricultural center for the region. The city has a population of approximately 11,677. Ours is a small community but we are located within easy reach of metropolitan entertainments. San Antonio, the seventh largest city in the United States, is just 2 hours easy drive northeast –perfect for a day trip or a weekend of big city fun.

Uvalde is 39 miles to the north, and hosts the majority of the area’s local entertainment venues, retail stores and a golf course.  Laredo is 90 miles to the south, and Eagle Pass is 44 miles to the west.  The beautiful beaches of Corpus Christi and Padre Island are also just a short 2 hour drive away, as is Camp Wood, “one of the 15 most scenic spots in Texas” according to Texas Highways magazine.  Carrizo Springs Municipal Golf Course is only 10 miles away.
